1. Eligibility

By using SheNearby, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements.

1. Services Provided

SheNearby is a platform that allows individuals and businesses to list and promote their home-based services within their apartment communities.
We act as a facilitator, not a service provider.

1. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
• You agree not to use the platform for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent activities.
• You must maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to comply with all applicable laws and apartment community rules.

1. Service Provider Responsibilities

• Service providers are independent and solely responsible for the services they offer.
• SheNearby does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of services.
• All transactions are strictly between the service provider and the customer.

1. Vendor Content & Intellectual Property

• Vendor Content Ownership: Vendors retain ownership of their own content (images, descriptions, logos).
• Rights Granted to SheNearby: By submitting content, vendors grant SheNearby a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote that content as part of the platform’s services.
• Vendor Responsibility: Vendors represent and warrant that they own or have the necessary rights to any content submitted, and that it does not infringe on any third-party rights.
• Liability: Vendors agree to indemnify and hold SheNearby harmless from any claims, damages, or costs arising from copyright, trademark, or intellectual property disputes related to their content.

1. Payments (If Applicable)

• Any fees for listing or premium features will be clearly communicated.
• Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

1. Limitation of Liability

• SheNearby provides the platform “as is” without warranties of any kind.
• SheNearby is not liable for disputes, damages, or losses arising from interactions between users, including financial, legal, or reputational damages.
• Maximum liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid to SheNearby for the service in question.

1. Due Diligence & Vetting

• SheNearby conducts basic verification of vendors (KYC, GST, business checks where applicable) but does not guarantee their legitimacy beyond this verification.
• Users are advised to perform their own due diligence before engaging any vendor.

1. Modifications to Terms

• We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
• All registered users will be notified of significant changes via email or in-app notification, and continued use will require re-acceptance of updated Terms.

1. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Chennai jurisdiction.

The services listed on SheNearby are provided by independent service providers.
SheNearby does not endorse or guarantee the quality, reliability, or suitability of any service listed.
We are an aggregator and facilitator only, not a party to any service agreement.

1. Refund & Cancellation Policy

• Service Listings: Listing fees are non-refundable once the listing is live.
• Technical Errors: Refunds may be requested within 7 days if a listing fails to go live due to a technical issue.
• Premium Features: Fees for premium features are non-refundable unless the feature is not delivered as described.

1. Compliance with Law

SheNearby complies with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines & Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
Users and vendors must not upload illegal, defamatory, obscene, or infringing content.
SheNearby reserves the right to remove such content and suspend accounts without notice.
